The GPRD Cell is engaged in Research and Development in Electricity area. The Cell has also taken up many activities which are related with energy efficiency of power network, Power quality and Power reliability, renewable energy for environmental benefits, improving customer services etc.

Introduction of the new concept design of WDD (Watch Dog Device) in existing Distribution Transformers and Consumers for remote monitoring, controlling, analysis and operating for various specific applications.
