Jignesh Borisagar, born in 1986 at Amreli District of Gujarat, passed his graduation in Eletrical Engineering with distinction in 2008 from Gujarat University. He joined UGVCL (erstwhile GEB) in 2009. Later, he acquired two further qualifications as "Post-Graduation Certificate in Geo-Informatics (PGCGI)" in 2019 & "Advance Certificate in Power Distribution Management" in 2017 from IGNOU. While working with UGVCL, he admirably performed as an R&D Engineer for around 2.5 years and discharged his duties effectively and successfully as a Project Co-ordinator at some of the esteemed projects like Sanand GIDC (TATA Nano Fame), Japanese Park, Ranotsav (Dhordo) for underground electrical network. He was also at disposal for SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition System) at UGVCL. On creation of the Gujarat Power Research and Development Cell, GUVNL, Gandhinagar, he was selected through a vigorious process in 2017. As a Project Implementer in GeoUrja (Enterprise GIS System for Easy Survey Smart Mobile Application, DISCOM Energy Portal, Gujarat Power Portal), he has remarkably made it through. He pursued designing and development of Remotely Communicable and Operable AB Switch with Earthblade facility, Single Pole and Double Pole mounted FRP based AB Switch with Earth Blade for isolation of 11KV line in network, Stone Less DO Fuse for protection of the Transformer, LT Switch with Earth Blade Facility for isolation of LT line in network, specification of 117 Sqmm AL-59 Conductor for the HT Network, Introduce and changes design in shock proof feeder pillars for the LT distribution network, Transformer monitoring System for the transformer to measure Oil Level, Oil temperature, Lug temperature, and monitor metering instantaneous Data, Redesigning Transformer Fabrication structure, Team member of Underground networks common specification, Wedge Connector for distribution power network, Some of Solar Project likes Micro Inverter and integrated Solar AC System etc.

J V Patel born in 1992 at Vadodara District of Gujarat, completed B.E. in Electrical Engineering with distinction from L. D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad in 2014. Later, He joined GSECL (Erstwhile GEB) in 2015 based on GATE examination conducted by IIT Kanpur. In the same year, he also qualified Joint- Council for Scientific & Industrial Research-UGC NET JRF exam in Engineering Sciences. While working with GSECL, his duties were at disposal of 1200 MW Underground River Bed Power House of Sardar Sarovar Hydro Electric Project at Kevadiya Colony. Where his work was related to O&M of 6*200 MW Hydro Power Units & 400 kV Gas Insulated Switchyard and other plant related auxiliaries. While working at GSECL, he participated & operated a generator desk in the western region’s black start power restoration mock drill in coordination and presence of WRLDC, PGCIL, GETCO, NCA, SSNNL official at Sardar Sarovar Hydro Electric Project and he successfully executed & coordinated work of upgrading TOSMAP –Automatic Sequence Control System of 6*200 MW Toshiba Generators along with Japanese Engineers and done successful commissioning and testing of the newly upgraded system. Later, He was selected at Gujarat Power Research and Development Cell, GUVNL at Gandhinagar through a rigorous process in 2021. His areas of interest include Power System and machines, Power quality, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage.

Sanjay Prajapati born in 1982 at Mehsana District of Gujarat, passed B.E. in Electrical Engineering with distinction from L. D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad in 2005, he joined UGVCL in 2006 and performed best during his UGVCL tenure as a Junior Engineer (Lab, TMS & Tech) and promoted as a Deputy Engineer (Tech) where his work was related with Testing of various kind of Meters, CT PT unit, GETCO Panel Meter and HT connection checking and Management of overall operation of all lab staff and maintaining lab standard, Installation Checking of various Consumers, Monitoring of Power reliability, T&D losses, Entrust GERC SoPs, Accident Prevention, Contractor Inventory, Overseeing various Power quality and Reliability issues related to Power Distribution System, network development for infrastructure, new substations proposals approvals, feeder bifurcations etc. He has expertise in design of Distribution Transformers. Subsequently, he has been selected after stringent selection process by GUVNL for the Gujarat Power Research & Development Cell (GPRD), GUVNL, Gandhinagar in 2023. His areas of interest are related to improve various standards in the field of Safety, Renewable Energy, Power Distribution & Automation, Reliability in Continuous Power, AT&C loss, Consumer Satisfaction etc.

Umang N Joshi born in 1988 at Mehsana District, after completed B.E.(IT) with distinction in 2010 from Saurarshtra University. He joined SV-NIT, Surat as a Teaching Assistant and later, he joined PGVCL (Erstwhile GEB) in 2011 where he admirably worked on e-Urja ERP system at Circle level L0 CRM, Admin and Inventory modules and handled Technical portfolios too, such as ND MIS, Power Position, Vigilance activities, Various Government schemes, Analysis of Major Databases. Subsequently, he joined Gujarat Power & Research Development Cell, GUVNL, Gandhinagar, his area of works are Server Administration, IT and Automation, IT Infrastructure upgradation, Network related support, Development of web application under various Research Project. He played a key role to migrate all the servers (like apache, tomcat, postgresql, mysql, mailserver) from cloud to own Server infrastructure at EMC UGVCL. He has expertise in managing applications server like apache, mysql, postgresql, Django, tomcat, nodejs. He being server administrator ensuring that system running efficiently by performing upgrading and maintenance task on hardware and software, resolving technical problems, ensuring server security and developing new system structure when necessary. He is also leading the development team for two major projects: GeoUrja and the Outage Management System (OMS). The GeoUrja project focuses on creating a GIS platform to digitize the electrical network, enabling detailed analysis of network and technical parameters. The OMS project aims to automate and streamline outage management integrated with Smart Feeder Monitoring System (SFMS) across the power network in Gujarat. He is responsible for implementing business logic and executing these projects in Gujarat for Goverment Power Utilitis

Sachinkumar Rathod born in 1991 at Anand District. After passing B.E.Electrical with distinction from Gujarat Technological University in 2012, he was picked up by Welspun Corp Limited (WCL) , Anjar, Gujarat; where his work was related to the operations of Variable Voltage Frequency (VVF) drives for induction motors, IGCT control Medium voltage drives, maintenance of Rolling Mill instruments, PLC, Remote I/O, Analysis of breakdown and material diversion through data logger (IBA)and looked after LEVEL-1 Automation, Field Instruments, Electrical Drives, HT panel, Transformer, motors. Later, he joined UGVCL in 2013 at Sanand Sub Division where he was used to carry out Site Survey and prepared technical proposals for New Connections of various categories like residential, Commercial, Agriculture and Overseeing maintenance activity of power distribution lines, Transformers, Poles and Power quality and Reliability issues related to Power distribution system and Consumers. Subsequently he joined Gujarat Power Research & Development Cell, GUVNL in 2017 where his work is related with various R&D activities to improve in the field of safety, renewable Energy, Power Distribution automation, Power quality, reliability, AT&C loss, consumer satisfaction.

Hardik Sakariya, born in 1991 at Tapi District. After passing B.E. with distinction in 2012 with 21st rank in Gujarat Technological University in Electrical Engineering, he joined Electrical Research & Development Association [ERDA], Vadodara, Gujarat in 2012, where his work was related with Product Testing & Inspection, Condition monitoring, Fault Diagnostics, Calibration & Quality Management, Energy Audit, Quality Assurance of Testing lab as per ISO: 17025, Energy audit covering scope of HVAC. Later, he joined PGVCL (erstwhile GEB) in 2015 where his work was related with Testing of various kind of Meters, CT PT unit, GETCO Panel Meter and HT connection checking and Management of overall operation of all lab staff and maintaining lab standard. Subsequently he joined Gujarat Power Research & Development Cell, GUVNL where he is keen-sighted on the research works of Various Power quality and research related issues like harmonics, Voltage fluctuations issues, Voltage swag-swell Effects etc. He has played leading role in research project of “LoRA based Cost Effective Automatic Meter Reading on AG consumers” and Renewable Energy projects, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Improvement of safety by earthing systems. He is a key inventor at Pipe in Cage Type Earthing System which has been registered for patent

Naisargee Hiteshbhai Rathod, born in 1995 at Ahmedabad City. Passed an M. Tech in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Bombay and a B.E in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. Before joining GPRD Cell, she served as a Junior Engineer in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd(GSECL).
At GSECL, Naisargee is entrusted with the maintenance, calibration, and optimization of critical instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices. Her role involves advanced troubleshooting and ensuring the operational integrity of Procontrol P-13 DCS and Symphony Plus HMI. She has actively participated in the design and implementation of DCS logic modifications to enhance power plant performance. She also managed vendor relationships, oversees inventory, and plays a key role in technical evaluations and audits, ensuring adherence to ISO/IMS standards and implementation of the 5-S methodology.
Naisargee has also contributed to innovative academic projects during her masters, including ECG Amplifier: Designing instrumentation amplifier and filtering circuits (LPF, HPF, Notch filter) for signal conditioning and recording of ECG waveform, Pulseoximeter: Designed amplification and filtering circuits and comparator for signal conditioning and recording of PPG signal to measure human heart rate using Arduino UNO. She did her M. Tech final year project on “ Theoretical and experimental study of effect of optical polarization for speckle based blood flow imaging “. She is also skilled in statistical techniques, including data representation, probability, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and methods like Chi-Square and ANOVA. Later, She was selected at Gujarat Power Research and Development Cell, GUVNL at Gandhinagar through a rigorous process in 2024.

Moin Vhora born in 1991 at Ahmedabad District, after passing BCA with First Class in 2012 in HNGU Patan University, he joined XENIER TECH PVT. LTD, AHMEDABAD, a software developer organization where he performed in development teams on a range of C#.Net & Vb.Net based software development projects in the Marketing, Educational, Hotels and Claims Processing areas. He also provided analysis, consultancy support, and training on PHP technologies to US and Irish teams. Later he joined UGVCL as a Junior Assistant (IT), where his work was related to developing of software that can replaced many manual submission as a part of MIS. it smoothen the office works and data submission with omission of manual error. He was also working for execution of Oracle ERP based system “E-Urja” and development of various web based and standalone utilities at R&D Cell, UGVCL. Subsequently he joined GUJARAT POWER RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CELL, GUVNL, Gandhianagar, and became Full Sack developer in large scale project “GeoUrja”, which is GIS based project with main objective to GPS survey of the electrical network of whole state, manage inventory, MIS system, perform various electrical simulations & studies. He has also designed architecture of this Project which was deployed in three packages like Mobile Application ( for Collection of GPS Location & Attribute of each electrical Pole, equipment, Consumers), (2) Web Portal (To view maps, reports and lots of functionality at managerial level) & (3) Geoserver (for Generating Map and publish as WMS / WFS service which are consumed in above mentioned web portal, as well as other government utilities), also prepared various desktop based utilities to boost up the routine work of employees in different DISCOMs by using C#.Net, EXCEL VBA.

K J Solanki born in 1987 at Gandhinagar District. After passing B.Com, MSW & DLP, He joined Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (Erstwhile GEB) in 2012. Later he obtained one more degree L.L.B from Gujarat University in 2015. He performed best during his UGVCL tenure as a Junior Assistant where admirably worked on LT Billing Activities, Assessment of billing cycles, Cash Collection, Consumer Name Change in CRM, Meter Change Work, Consumer merging process, Temporary Consumer ledger, and Meter Reading etc.. Subsequently he has been selected after stringent selection process by GUVNL for the Gujarat Power Research & Development Cell (GPRD), GUVNL, Gandhinagar in 2018, where he achieved best work in the field of Human Resources, Cell’s accounts & daily Office Management.

Jayesh Vadgama born in 1992 at Rajkot District. After passing BCA with distinction from Saurashtra University in 2012, he joined Stridedge Technology, Rajkot, Gujarat, IT Company where he performed on Designing of Database related to particular project, Coding (On Languages, frameworks, Custom Development/Modification, Writing Scripts to develop Standard library for the firm, Cron Jobs, Data Extraction, Testing, Deployment, Migration, Data optimization, Web Services – API development), providing guidance to new developers/designers in team, bootstrap web designing. Later he joined PGVCL ( Erstwhile GEB) in 2015 where admirably worked at the IT base activities like Billing Activities, Assessments for billing cycles, cash collection, disconnection memo put up, ARM analysis, new consumer billing setup, consumer ledger work, adjustments, payment transfers. Subsequently he joined Gujarat Power & Research Development CELL, GUVNL, Gandhinagar, where his area of works are as to Develop the Web Portal/Dashboard for GeoUrja Project by which employees can work on the data of surveyed feeders, providing authentication to access/modify the data based on their roles, data optimization during sending it through web, designing dynamic architecture to modified the data, displaying coordinates (location) of feeder objects on a web page by creating a dynamic map tool, development of various analysis pages. He has the expertise in Web Programming Languages, Frameworks, CMS, Design tools & Client Side Scripts ( PHP, Yii, Wordpress, ASP.NET with C#, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, Angular JS, HTML, CSS), Relational Database Management System (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle), Custom Development & Designing (Wordpress Themes, Plugins, Widget) and Mobile Application Development (IONIC Framework, Cordova/Phone gap).

Mr Vishal Patel was born in 1990 in Mehsana District, after completing BCA with first class from Gujarat University & MCA with first class from Saurashtra University, he joined Linath Infotech, Ahmedabad in 2013. Later he joined MGVCL (Erstwhile GEB) in 2015) at Halol Town Subdivision, Dist. Panchmahal, where he admirably worked for 5 years as a meter reader and ledger clerk. Subsequently, he joined Gujarat Power & Research Development Cell, GUVNL, Gandhinagar in 2022. His areas of work are Outage Management System & Revenue management System which are going to be developed by GPRD Cell. He has expertise in managing software applications such Frontend Development:- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with advanced knowledge of modern libraries and frameworks like ReactJS and NextJS, allowing for the creation of dynamic and responsive web interfaces. Backend Development:- Skilled in Node.js and Python, with experience using frameworks like Django and handling server-side operations efficiently. He is also well-versed in PHP, ensuring versatility across different web development stacks. Database Management:- Strong capabilities in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, enabling robust data storage solutions and efficient query management.

Mr. MohammadJuned Piprani born in 1992 at Deesa, Banaskantha District, after passing B.Sc(IT) with First class from HNG University, Patan in 2013 & passing M.Sc(IT) with First Class in 2015 from the Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya at Gandhinagar, He joined UGVCL (Erstwhile GEB) as a Junior Assistant in 2015, where He admirably handled IT base activities like Billing Activities, Assessments for Billing Cycles, Cash Collection, DisConnection Memo put up, New Consumer billing setup, Consumer Ledger Work, Adjustments, Payment Transfers type activities to boost up the routine work of employees by using EXCEL, VBA & Mobile Applications. Subsequently he has selected by GUVNL for the Gujarat Power Research & Development Cell (GPRD), GUVNL, Gandhinagar in June-2024 as Mobile Application Developer/Designer, where his area of work is to develop Mobile Application related to the various R&D Projects. He has expertise in managing software applications such as Java, Kotlin, Flutter, VB, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Mysql, Oracle etc.
